Can't say that I've actually watched one single episode of A-I this season but from all the brou-ha-ha with freak boy,(aka Sanjaya) and his pretty hair, lack of talent and son on ... it seems I've not missed much.
I haven't watched A.I. for a couple of years now myself, but the 'Sanjaya thing' got difficult to ignore...and after all the late night talk show hosts taking shots at him over the last few weeks, what does Jay Leno do? ...has him on the Tonight Show last night. I fear, no matter what you do, Sanjaya won't be going away for a while. The pop culture fanatics will keep him around somehow (not unlike the William Hung incident of a few years ago), so that people who need to have a "whippin' boy" to make themselves feel superior, will be able to continue to wallow in the mud that is wanna-be celebrity madness.

Yes - I also am thankful ! Now if we could only get Bush on American Idol and get him voted off too...
