Live Earth

Just a reminder that the Live Earth concerts are on today ( as if you never knew that ) . Watching concerts around the world to save our planet is mind boggling undertaking . I think it is important on an individual level to do your part and contribute to saving our world . Listen to the music today . Educate yourself on why this is happening . It is a wonderful world . Let's not destroy it .

Funny, I was just reading your post when Paolo Nutini started singing "What A Wonderful World".

I led our 11pm newscast last night with the concerts starting, and promptly got a phone call from a cantankerous old fart who said it hardly deserved to be the top story, because it's all a scam. He wouldn't accept my explanation that we weren't taking sides, we were covering it as a huge, worldwide event. I have low tolerance for close-minded people who think their opinions are fact, and no one else's matters.

A couple more observations, if I may:
-I can't sing worth crap. I could when I was a kid, then my voice changed, and I lost control of it (a subject for some day on my own blog). But watching Garth and Tricia this morning, Faith and Tim last week, and going back to James Taylor several years ago (another funny story for my blog), I just want to sing well enough to be a backup singer. That would be a blast.
-Marci Ien looks smokin' hot today. I worked with her at NewsNet/Canada AM. One of the genuinely sweetest people you'll ever meet.

Have a good, clean air day, and don't leave too big a carbon footprint on the Earth.

It's weird to see CTV people working at MuchMusic with people from the old CHUM TV.

Can anyone tell me what any judge of talent ever saw in Seamus O'Regan, Tanya Kim or Ben Mulroney?

Oh I dunno I kinda like Seamus, if only cause his name befuddles my Didz.

Tanya Kim and Ben M. they suck eggs!

You mentioned Marci Ien earlier, I so love her. I get hypnotized whatching her lips move, seemingly apart from the words she is speaking...

Tanya Kim was so outpeformed by that MuchMusic chick, who apparently has a brain. All Tanya could do was gawk at her, wondering what those two-syllable words meant.

The only thing I like about E-Talk are the closing credits.

lmao, Kitty. Stop it, my sides hurt!

Personally, I like eTalk most when it's pre-empted.

Okay, back to the word association game.

HA! Yea I can hear the voice over commercial now..

"Next, on a very special E-Talk, we bring you 5 minutes of Station Identification and 25 minutes of Static "

Static would be more intelligent than Tanya or Ben.
