Turkey?............No way........How's about Salmon on a plank?????

HO HO HO.............Santa is alive and well and is celebrating with his family. He even brought his mom on the sleigh with him last night. How does he manage to pull that heavy sleigh without snow anyway?

Hmmmmm, the magic of Christmas

Cheers to all that is!

A double-double Merry Christmas wish to all the Horton/Lauzons.

Quick story here: I was at my cousin's place last night for a Reveillon (traditional French-Canadian Christmas Eve party). Another cousin's boyfriend got down on one knee and proposed. There was hardly a dry eye in the house.

Never trust a kid that makes liquered up coffee for Christmas .. I am half -tanked and its only 11 am ...my only saving grace is that I do not have to stuff a turkey . God bless us every one .

Merry Christmas, Ma, and Nat, and the whole family. Have a great time together, and many more happy New Years.

I love Christmas Day.

Yeah...SPEAKING OF FISH, CQ. You shoulda seen the look on my face!!!!

Thank god the charity benefited from your hard-earned cash. :)

Also...my mom wasn't half-tanked when she wrote it. She REQUESTED the 2nd boozed-up coffee, okay? And she was a little more than half!! hehehe

Has CQ yet mentioned to anyone about the bidding war she was caught up in to win the FISH?
...and who that bidding war was with? and who backed off when she pleaded her case about giving it as a gift to Ma? Hmmm? Any of that come up yet? CQ? Bueller? Anyone?

Okay, the dish on the fish...
I engaged in a bidding war
On a fish that was for sale
I was bidding against JB
So he decided to bail
He was a perfect gentleman
and let me have the fish
although there was one thing
so I fulfilled his wish
The End

All right, enquiring minds...
The thing she agreed to (which you're going to find lame) was to mention after the fact that I was trying to buy it, too, and that she refused me go halves on the price, because she wanted to buy it for Ma herself, because of how wonderful Ma has been to her.
It was nothing bad.

JB, always the gentleman...told you all it was kinda boring....

Aw, man! What a day of disappointment. A total lunchbag letdown. All that cryptic stuff that suggests scandal of National Enquirer proportions, but zip, bupkus, nada, clean as a whistle. You people are boring. :)

...and I do thank CQ for her most thoughtful gift and the best part was the look on N@'s face when I unwrapped the painting ...and just to make NGB feel better it was a completely naked , anorexic fish in designer fins dating a Federline fish with no talent for anything . I must thank JB as well ..you guys are so sweet !

Thanks, Ma. I knew I could count on you.

Now get back to spoiling your Nattypants while you can.

Hugs,
Bobbycakes

AND A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOURS. May you all have a blessed NEW YEAR!

Oh yeah, and I knew that CQ bought that FISH several weeks ago and I did not say a word. See how I can actually keep a secret? Its only because my mouth was stuffed with moussaka. Or Mouse-kaka, depending on how you pronounce it! lol

Maria: I think we met in a past life, because one of the voices in my head is the old Greek grandpa from "Webster" (remember, Emmanuel Lewis, before he was one of Michael Jackson's um, playthings, the little black kid adopted by Alex Karras and his non-Greek wife?), and every time I read one of your comments, his voice keeps calling you "Maria, my leetle baklava".

Maria said...

Yes, I remember the greek guy with Emmanuel Lewis. That was a cool show. As for Baklava not my favorite dessert but hey it will do.

We met in a past life? Really? but how could that be? my mom tried to limit the amount of non-greek friends that I had! lol
